1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lexa AI Research Assistant platform ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use usage of the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lexa ("Company", "we", "us").

2. Description of Service

Lexa is an AI-powered research assistant designed to help users analyze documents, generate insights, and manage research projects. You acknowledge that the Service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies which may produce inaccurate or offensive outputs.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the documents, text, and other materials you upload to the Platform ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
License to Us: By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, host, and analyze your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
AI Outputs: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Lexa assigns to you all its right, title, and interest in and to the output generated by the Service based on your User Content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or promotes hate speech.
Violate any third-party intellectual property rights.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code or underlying models of the Platform.
Use the Service to develop a competing product or service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". LEXA MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF THE AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS PROBABILISTIC IN NATURE AND MAY HALLUCINATE OR GENERATE FACTUALLY INCORRECT INFORMATION. YOU SHOULD INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY ALL INFORMATION GENERATED BY THE SERVICE BEFORE RELYING ON IT FOR PROFESSIONAL, ACADEMIC, OR LEGAL PURPOSES.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEXA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL LEXA'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO LEXA FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lexa harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Indonesia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
